Assistance League of Norman is an all-volunteer, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that puts caring and commitment into action through philanthropic programs in Norman and the surrounding area. Member volunteers are dedicated to ongoing support and a long-term presence in the community through hands-on involvement and innovative philanthropic programs.

The Norman chapter was organized in 1970 with about 50 members and was chartered in 1974. There are ~120 Assistance League chapters in 26 states with just under 26,000 members. In 2013-14, Assistance League chapters returned over $38 million to local communities across the country and invested ~3.34 million service hours.
Assistance League of Norman
Assistance League of Norman currently has about 400 member volunteers working to make Norman a better place to live and work through our programs. Assistance League of Norman supports nine community based philanthropic programs benefiting everyone from infants to adults residing in Norman and Little Axe. In 2014–15, our dedicated members volunteered over 13,000 hours. We encourage you to learn more about our chapter and the many ways you can become involved and make a difference.
